How to Handle Global Content
An exclusive interview with Lee Densmer on the Content Amplified Podcast.
"Even though your business may not be global, your content is" - Lee

Here are some awesome things to consider when taking your content globally:
1️⃣ Rather than writing different pieces of content, you can repurpose it - but you need to find an agency or in-country resources to get it right.
2️⃣ Channels may vary DRASTICALLY from country to country. It's not just the content, it's the delivery channel that may change as well.
3️⃣ Consider creating separate channels that are targeted specifically to different countries and/or languages. Mr. Beast does a great job at this.
How and what you should track when it comes to your marketing content
An exclusive interview with Chrissie Buchanan on the Content Amplified Podcast.

1️⃣ Vanity metrics - just because they are easy to track, doesn't mean they provide that much value to you. Take them for what they really tell you, but they aren't everything.
2️⃣ Engagement rate - a great metric to track in GA4 to see how well your content is performing. 60% engagement rate or above is pretty good if you need a benchmark.
3️⃣ Track page or screen views per session - this can help you see more about the buyer journey on your site. Try to get this over 2-3 pages per sessions - shows that you have a site people are interacting with.
Marketing Joke(s) of the Week

1️⃣ Why did the content marketer break up with the vanity metrics?
Because they promised engagement, but all they got were empty likes!
2️⃣ Why are vanity metrics like a mirage?
Because from afar they look like an oasis of success, but up close, they're just a desert of relevance!
3️⃣How do vanity metrics do in school?
They're great at making a good first impression, but when it comes to the test, they can't show their work!
